Why this book ?

With this book, I’m sharing my valuable knowledge, based on more than 30 years of highlevel experience. During my long career, I suffered from several serious injuries (e.g. ruptured Achilles tendon) from which many athletes were unable to recover. In 2023, at 49 years old, I am still capable of dunking. The reason behind this? A strict training regime.

Posture #1 - The Cat​

The Cat posture represents the awakening of the body. It serves as an entry point into mobility, gently activating joints and muscles after rest, preparing the body for more dynamic movement. Inspired by the cat’s natural flexibility, elasticity, and readiness, this posture cultivates suppleness, alertness, and efficiency. Beyond its physical benefits—such as joint lubrication, flexibility, and gradual muscle activation—it embodies a philosophy of resilience: being able to transition instantly from rest to action, with serenity and focus. Practicing the Cat posture is thus not only a physical awakening but also a way of adopting the qualities of the animal itself—fluidity, concentration, and strategic energy use.

Posture #4 - The Camel

The Camel posture is both highly functional and adaptable. Rooted in traditional nomadic ways of sitting, it offers a position of rest that also allows for immediate reactivity in challenging environments. Its versatility makes it useful in daily life—from eating at a low table to resting outdoors or engaging in study and conversation. Physiologically, it combines the benefits of earlier postures (Cat, Cow, and Frog), promoting flexibility in the hips, knees, and ankles while strengthening core stability. Beyond its physical value, the Camel is praised for its universality: anyone, regardless of lifestyle, can adopt it and benefit from its blend of comfort, readiness, and resilience.
